Most clients want one thing: a clear path to start. But long forms feel heavy. That’s why I use a 2-step project form: Step 1 is fast (low friction), Step 2 is optional (for serious details).
Why a 2-step flow works
- Step 1 = easy: I can understand your goal quickly.
- Step 2 = faster quoting: If you fill the brief, I can estimate scope + timeline with less back-and-forth.
- No overwhelm: You don’t need to “think of everything” on the first message.
Step 1: Quick Request (Start Project)
This takes about 1–2 minutes. I only ask for the essentials:
- Your name / business name
- Best contact channel (email / WhatsApp / Telegram)
- What you need (new website / redesign / bug fix)
- Target deadline (rough is fine)
- Budget range (optional, but helps me advise properly)
After you submit
You’ll see a thank-you page confirming I received your request. If you want to move faster, there’s an option to fill the full brief (Step 2).
Step 2: Full Brief (Project Details)
This is optional, but it saves time. It helps me quote accurately and propose the right plan:
- Pages/sections you want (Home, Services, About, Contact, etc.)
- Do you already have content (text/images), or need help structuring it?
- Reference websites you like (2–3 links)
- Brand assets (logo, colors, fonts if any)
- Must-have features (form, booking, catalog, payment, etc.)
- Domain/hosting access (if already purchased)
Client checklist (copy & paste)
- Domain/hosting (if available)
- Logo (PNG/SVG)
- 2–3 reference websites you like
- List of pages you need
- Text content or key points
- Contact details (WhatsApp/email/maps)
- Any special request (booking, catalog, payment, etc.)
FAQ
“I’m not sure about everything yet.”
No problem. Fill Step 1 first. I’ll guide you with the right
questions.
“Can we discuss first before committing?”
Yes. Step 1 is enough to start a conversation and clarify scope.
“How fast do you reply?”
I reply as soon as possible based on my working hours (Malaysia time).
If it’s urgent, mention your deadline in Step 1.
